Sunday’s Phillies game at Citizens Bank Park to close out the series with the NY Mets looked as though it would have been a tough loss for the team even late into the 7th inning. But, every now and again, this game never ceases to surprise. What looked bleak turned into a victory for the Phillies as they skated away with a win. Phils went ahead with the HBP on Trea Turner, watch it below from MLB Film Room:

That’s a long time ago! Mets manager, Buck Showalter got ejected in yesterday’s Mets loss.

Yesterday’s win brought the Phillies home record up to 21-14, and they are 3 games over .500 and 10 GB from the Atlanta Braves on June 26th. The Mets loss brought them to an 18-27 road record. Zack Wheeler had quite a game with 107 pitches over 5.1 IP, but he didn’t get a decision in this game, and brought his ERA to 3.76 on the season.
