The Phillies had some high hopes for 2023, a return to the World Series, another winning season… some great times. Well, there still may be all of those things but 2023 hasn’t started out all that great for the Phillies as they have stumbled to an 0-4 record with the loss last night to the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. Anthony Rizzo and Gleyber Torres teamed up for 4-RBI and Franchy Cordero chipped in 2 RBI on the 8-1 drubbing of the Phillies last night in the Bronx. The highlights for the Phillies weren’t very many, Alec Bohm went 3-4 as the DH on the night, and the lone RBI for the Phillies belonged to Edmundo Sosa.
