In 11 starts last year for the Mets, deGrom was 5-4 with a 3.08 ERA. He starts off the new chapter in his career today pitching for the Texas Rangers after his 9 years with the Mets. deGrom signed a 5-year, 185 million dollar guaranteed contract with the Rangers. Nola did not get a new contract in the off-season from the Phillies and the negotiating time is over according to Nola, who wants to concentrate on this season.
What will this season produce? Will the Phillies make it back to the World Series in 2023? We will start to find out those answers starting today in the long 162-game season of the MLB. Let’s go Phils!
