The Phillies surprised me, just days ago, I thought they were finished acquiring free agents. Ok then we got Kyle Schwarber, who I was very happy to see signed with the Phils as he is a home run hitter for sure. Ok, that was a nice add, now just late last night I see the Phils adding Nick Castellanos, which is another tremendous addition to the team. These two aren’t household names when it comes to baseball and big stars, but they are solid everyday baseball players who make it happen. Below is some stats for Nick:

Castellanos has been a catalyst of the Reds now for the past couple of years. Nick is 30 years old, born in Florida, and had a 3.2 WAR last year. He hit an amazing 10 triples for Detroit back in 2017, and that year, he also had 100 RBI. If anything, I think the signing of Castellanos and Schwarber when combined with Bryce Harper should produce a ton of offense.
It’s the Phillies 75th anniversary of having Spring Training in Clearwater Florida, here’s a post by the Phils on Twitter that tells of that:
"The Phillies found Clearwater and Clearwater found the Phillies."

This year marks 75 years of Spring Training at our home away from home. Take a look back with us:
There was an offer on the Phillies website for a special ‘monthly’ pass to get into the ballpark for every game except Opening Day and the last home game of the season for $50 a month. I looked today and couldn’t find the offer, did you get lucky and take advantage of the standing room only tickets?
