Fast forward to now, the World Series is being played, Atlanta had a golden moment to seal the deal on a World Series victory in their own stadium in Game 5 but just couldn’t get it done, so it’s back to Houston and the Braves just need 1 more victory. Astros manager, Dusty Baker, has never won a World Series as a manager, and now he has another chance to do that as the Astros have to continue to win both games 6 and 7 to win it all.

The Phillies have a new hitting coach on hire, Kevin Long, who has been with many MLB teams in that role, and most recently with the Nationals for 4-years. Long also was with the Yankees from 2007-2014. Long reunites with Bryce Harper and he has a ton of other players he has coached.

One of the players mentioned in a possible move to Philadelphia is Kyle Schwarber is being mentioned in certain circles as a player that may be enticed to move to Philadelphia. Long had been coaching Schwarber in Washington till he moved over to the Boston Red Sox when the Nats traded him to the Boston Red Sox for RHP Aldo Ramirez.
