He’s 24 years old, his name, Spencer Howard. He’s on tap to start his first MLB game on Sunday during the doubleheader against the Braves this weekend. It’s a much anticipated start by Howard as the Phillies are looking for someone else to solidify this starting rotation and add reliability.

The Phillies have been up and down, with an emphasis on the downside, especially with the bullpen. What will they do in this series?
In this shortened season every game is crucial, the Phillies haven’t made the playoffs since 2011, and this current management is well on the clock with enough time to level a heap of blame now on them. Before all was said, is that this is what we got when we’ve arrived here, but that has been some time ago. Where are the positive results happening?
This team needs to step up and start playing like a winner, almost like they were in Spring Training I back in March. They need to find that winning way, and run with it.

A sign of the times, businesses trying to get along with a budget that they have to work with. It’s no surprise with Murph, since he was a post game/ ‘crowd’ reporter, the crowd isn’t there now, and won’t be all season and reporters aren’t allowed anywhere near the field. Sometimes better doors open when some are closed, we’ll see with Murph as the Phils continue on the Covid-19 season.
