The Phillies pulled out a victory to bring them to 1 game over .500 (6-5) in the early season. The team now goes on the road to Tampa and then onto Atlanta for 3 games each, then they return to CBP to play the Pirates, who have been doing really well early in the season.

Are we seeing the beginning of a good thing with this Phillies team, or did they just happen to get lucky at home against a bad team in Cincinnati? The Tampa Bay Rays, the Phillies next opponent are tied with Miami for the 2nd worst record in baseball at 3-9 each (Cinncy has the 2-9 worst record so far).

The Phils will play the Tampa Rays on Friday night the 13th at 7:10 PM it will be Velasquez vs. Faria. Here is the Baseball-Reference preview of the matchup.
