Phillies Out of Town and Out of the Money for 2nd Straight Year

It’s always bad when the Phillies don’t make the playoffs, and this is now the second year in a row for this team not making the postseason. The graphic above shows up the NL race as it continues, with the NL Divison winners and more.

You can really say that it is a major disappointment this year for the Phillies, especially with the payroll that this club carried all year, and with the players that the Phillies have been picking up all year. It hasn’t been a good year, despite the Phils still attracting over 3 Million fans, not 3,000 fans as Mr. Chase Utley announced to a stadium full of fans, what was he thinking? Anyway, the home schedule is done for the year, and only 7 more games remain for the Phillies.

Roy Halladay pitches for the Phils in the first game of the Marlins series, he should get his last start of the year in Atlanta on Saturday.
