Rain suspends game until today

The weather in Cincinnati was very rainy at the start of the game, and then near the 9th inning, so the Phillies game last night was forced to be completed tonight, before the regularly scheduled start of the last game of the series at Great American Ballpark.

The Phils and the Reds were locked in a 0-0 tie in the 9th when the rain hit and forced the game to be completed today at 5:30 pm.

The Reds had a promotion for their fans last night called ‘Bark In the Park’ where fans could bring their dogs into the park with them. This is something that the Phillies have never done before at CBP.

Later tonight after the suspended game it will be John Lannan still searching for his first win despite pitching very well in his first 2 games, he has a 2.77 ERA so far on the season.
